Little something about me:
Bassist since 1975, still learning...
I'm an oldschool rock player with some blues influences.
It was somewhere in 1975, when all my friends played guitars, and then I decided to build bass guitar from my grandmothers ironing board!
Bass was horrible, but worked fine with Sound City amp&cabin, and I still have that bass somewhere.
Few years later I was at the same class with Pepe Ahlqvist in school, and he borrowed some great blues records to me, and I sold my soul to Blues.
In 1979 I was playing Elvis-style rock with Jorma Kääriäinen in a band:
Freddie Falcon & V8 Band
We made two singles and one album, and about 150 gigs in 10 month in a
Rock-a-billy Rebel Tour-79 all over Finland with Teddy&The Tigers.
Many bands has started with me, in the 80's was Zuguway, and we made gigs many years around Lahti till early 90's.
I moved to Helsinki in 1999 and from 2006 I have played local bands like:
- Trick Bag
- Hotbones
- The Helsinki Satellites
- Bootleg
- The Blue Rhythm Combo
- Lockdown Docs
-Groovehill
-Skeleton Hellraisers
Let's see what comes next? Always something will rock my world.
The Old man is down the road....still....
Jim Catwalk & Barons in on the way just for now to the endless road.
End of 2025 came Silver Ghosts to mix up everything.
